ADES International Holding Ltd
Representation of ADES International Holding Ltd, a leading provider of offshore and onshore oil & gas drilling and production services company, on its IPO on the London Stock Exchange. This transaction was recognized as "Equity Deal of the Year" by the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) Middle East Awards.
Egyptian Feed-in Tariff Program
Representation of the sponsor group comprising Phoenix Power Ventures, ib vogt GmbH and Infinity Solar on the development and financing of the 50 MW solar power generation plant in Aswan, Egypt as part of the Feed-in Tariff Program. This transaction was recognized as "Multilateral Deal of the Year" by Project Finance International Awards 2017.
Tahrir Petrochemical Project
Representation of Tahrir Petrochemicals Company in connection with the development and financing of a US$7 billion petrochemical complex in Egypt, including proposed financing from US Ex-Im, UKEF and SACE. This work follows our representation of the sponsor on the development and financing of a nitric acid and ammonium nitrate complex, as well as an ammonia complex at the Suez Industrial Area on the Gulf of Suez in Egypt.
Ayoun Moussa Power Plant
Representation of the sponsor in connection with the development and financing of a 2640 MW coal fired power project to be located at Ayoun Moussa on the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt.
Gulf of Suez Reserve Based Lending
Representation of HSBC Bank plc, International Finance Corporation and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in connection with an up to US$500 million secured revolving reserves based lending facility in respect of borrowing base assets located in the Gulf of Suez, Egypt. This transaction was recently awarded "Middle East and North Africa Oil & Gas Deal of the Year" by IJGlobal Awards 2015.
Emaar Misr
Representation of J.P. Morgan and EFG Hermes, acting as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners, and Emirates Financial Services PSC, acting as Lead Manager, for the IPO and Egyptian Stock Exchange listing of the ordinary shares of Emaar Misr for Development S.A.E. The offering consisted of a public offering in Egypt and a private placement to institutional investors in various jurisdictions, including to qualified institutional buyers in the United States.

Representation of Orascom Telecom and and its parent company, Weather Capital on a US$3.575 billion refinancing, consisting of a new US$2 billion senior secured credit facility for Orascom Telecom Holding; an €825 million 4.75% exchangeable bond offering by Weather Capital Finance, S.A; and a €500 million amended and restated term loan facility by Weather Capital.
