In 2023, Legal Services of Greater Miami awarded our Miami office with its Equal Justice Special Project of the Year Award for our work on LGBTQ+ rights.
In 2023, two of our pro bono matters – the Ferguson debtor's prison case and the Mexico City Immigration Amparo case – were "Highly Commended" by the Financial Times Innovation Awards North America and contributed the Firm's overall Top Five FT North America innovation ranking.

In 2020, White & Case was Commended by the Financial Times European Innovative Lawyers Awards for its work on a funding mechanism to drive investment from Islamic countries to help reduce cholera in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the Islamic Development Bank.
In 2020, White & Case won two awards for its work on the Greece Pro Bono Collaborative (GPBC) project. The firm and its GPBC partners jointly won the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Europe 2020 Award for 'Innovation in social responsibility.' They also won the CSR Innovation (Multi-Firm) Award from Legal Week's Legal Innovation Awards 2020. The project supported charities European Lawyers in Lesvos and Refugee Legal Support in helping refugees on the Greek islands with their applications for asylum.
In 2019, White & Case's work on the Cornwall webcam advice outreach project with University House and others was awarded Best New Pro Bono Activity 2019 – Commendation by LawWorks Pro Bono Awards.
In 2019, White & Case was Commended by the Financial Times FT Innovative Lawyers North America for our pro bono representation of the anti-corruption organization Mexicanos Contra la Corrupción y la Impunidad, which sued the Mexico City government for failing to fill the position of commissioner of the city's Transparency Institute. The report noted that this failure "meant 2,000 freedom of information requests had not been fulfilled."

Work to create the Online LGBT Tax Resource, an innovative tool that leverages technology to provide pro bono legal assistance to same-sex married couples in the United States, won a "Commended" ranking for its innovation by the Financial Times in the FT North America Innovative Lawyers 2014 report. This project also received the 2015 Corporate Pro Bono Award from Corporate Pro Bono (CPBO), a global partnership project of the Pro Bono Institute (PBI) and the Association of Corporate Counsel. The Firm collaborated with The Bank of New York Mellon and the National LGBT Bar Association on this project.

In 2013, The American Lawyer recognized White & Case with its first Global Citizenship Grand Prize for our Fighting Human Trafficking Initiative. The Initiative couples representation of human trafficking victims and support for leading anti-trafficking NGOs with efforts to bring about systemic change in the ways human trafficking cases are prosecuted and the protection countries offer to their domestic workers. Approximately 200 associates and 30 partners from 27 offices worked on an anti-human trafficking pro bono matter recognized by this award.
The Thomson Reuters Foundation honored our work over the past five years with a special Anniversary Award given to the firm which has done the most for the first five years of TrustLaw, its pro bono clearinghouse. We have taken on more than 100 matters referred by TrustLaw. In 2013, we received the 2013 Trust Law Impact Award for our work researching legislation and regulations related to the protection of domestic workers, which helped change law in the Philippines. We have also received the TrustLaw Innovation Award for our work on the Xii, the world's first social stock exchange and the TrustLaw Pro Bono Leaders Award for Best International Law Firm.
