Overview
Helen Joseph is a partner in the London Employment, Compensation & Benefits Practice.
Helen specialises in advising international and domestic clients on various aspects of employment law globally, including employment contracts and executive service agreements, consultancy and secondment arrangements, board appointments, executive compensation, recruitment and termination of employment, outsourcing arrangements, large scale restructuring and redundancy procedures, team moves and restrictive covenants, issues connected with employees on insolvency and employment tribunal litigation.
Helen also has extensive multi-jurisdictional transaction experience, acting for buyers, sellers and lenders on private equity and corporate transactions, including advising on associated TUPE/employee transfer issues, consultation with trade unions and works councils and collective redundancy issues.

Pollinate group, a UK-based software business developing an innovative cloud-based platform reinventing merchant acquiring for banks, on implementation of Pollinate’s ECB matters.
Karen Millen and Coast on the TUPE and collective redundancy aspects associate with the filing and entry into administration of some of the Coast and Karen Millen entities, as well as the pre-pack sale out of administration of certain assets of Coast and Karen Millen to Boohoo.com, including preparing the HR1 for filing.
A luxury lingerie business with retail stores all over the globe, on various day-to-day employment matters globally, including advising in connection with the recruitment and departure of senior individuals.
SPIE UK Limited on the ECB aspects of its sale of 100% of the shares in Triosgroup Limited, and the implementation of a transitional services arrangement for a period following sale, including advising on the transfer of employees.
Avast on the ECB aspects of its US$816.6 million (£602 million) initial public offering (IPO), the biggest ever software IPO on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
Lightsource on the ECB aspects of the sale of 43.2% of the Lightsource business to BP.
